Great find today at 99 cents store. As soon as I saw it on the shelf, I KNEW, with a bit of paint, it would make a great pumpkin candy jar! Easy to make so this also makes it a fabulous craft party project!

I’m so pleased with myself! ? Will share the finished jar, with instructions, as soon as it is done! Enjoy!

April in Paris

April in Paris

I decide to keep my sideboard simple this month with an April in Paris theme. I admit, I was inspired by the graphic I used in the wreath. I chose to keep with the white/ivory, gray/silver & black color combo for the entire look with just a hint of pink!

I covered the sideboard with a piece of lace fabric that a friend gave me. It worked great last month & I thought it would work well this month too!

I made the wreath, in case you didn’t guess! We are enjoying it until someone orders it from my Etsy store. You can view the listing by clicking here!

I spotted the black & white paper plates one day when I was wandering around Dollar Tree. Aren’t they great?!

The black frame & silver frame also came from Dollar Tree. I knew they would fit right in with this display. I found the graphics in the frames at The Graphics Fairy. I specifically chose black & white images. Want to create your own? You can find the perfume label here & the Eiffel Tower here.

I made the little wooden block that’s in from of the cup. I painted it light pink with chalk paint & added a floral graphic which I roughed up to give it a rustic look. The small floral plate is one I found at a thrift store. I epoxied it to a small green sherbet glass which matches the green in the flowers on the plate.  The beautiful cup was a gift from my dear friend, Kim. It might not be a perfect match but I thought it added a touch of elegance to the display.

Finally, the silver tray. It is resting on an easel. Both are from Dollar Tree. I plan to use blackboard chalk paint on the tray so I can  use it to reflect my them each month.

I want to add chocolates but it has been very warm here lately & the chocolates tend to melt! Not good!

Simple yet elegant. And very easy to create as well as inexpensive. You can create your own display in your home to enjoy this month!

Up next month: Red,white & blue!
